So, as you can imagine, I am not happy to find a nice Lobro inner joint ruined because I missed a torn boot as part of my preventative maintenance programme.
Another symptom of a problem with the CV axle shafts is grease on the inside edge of the tire or along the underside of the vehicle. A torn or cracked CV boot will leak grease that ends up tossed around while the axle turns.
